Albania - Ervin Ismajlaj

Ervin is 15 years old. He has just finished the 1st grade of Madrasa. Ervin joined Madrasa only one year ago. He finished the elementary level (1-8th grade) at another school. Ervin is an excellent student. His favorite subject is learning Kur'an. In fact he won the 2nd place at the National Competition on Kur'an where, besides all the Madrasas of the country, participated pupils from Macedonia as well. Ervin is living together with his parents and an elder sister. His father is a ex - military officer at the moment jobless. While his mother works in a sewing enterprise. Ervin has always likes Arabic. He has followed Arabic courses before. At the moment he is taking extra hours Arabic and Kur'an. However, he wants to have a deeper knowledge in other subjects as well. Hence, he has attended for 4 years an Italian course, has studied English and computer. He likes football and volleyball as well.
Ervin, wants to become a medical doctor. He likes to help the people and that's why he likes this profession. Ervin, says that one of the reason to come and study in Madrasa is that it is well equipped and has a qualified staff. He loves the school and has a message to convey: "Madrasa is the only Islamic school in Shkodra, hence a lot of efforts should be put, in order to attract more pupils. These pupils will have different professions in the future; they would become doctors, engineers, imams. We see of lot of people who have been excellent pupils and now are important persons, but their deeds are not always clean. While a Muslim has always noble reasons when works. I pray God, that more pupils will come to this school and that Islam will have decent and capable people to protect it".
